Mini Perfume Consultation (for alcohol-based perfumes only)

Come in for a 75-minute consultation to select up to nine ingredients for your perfume. You are offered a sniff of several of each base, heart, and head notes, beginning with the base notes. You can choose up to three from each category and watch as I create and blend the formula right in front of you. You will be asked to sniff along the way, working with the original idea (ie: 'let's feature Champa in this perfume') or (ie: 'I love citrus and florals, so let's focus on that') until we find the right combination of essences.

You will then be given a 1 oz bottle of perfume and asked to allow it to marry in a cool dark place for a month so it can mature. Natural perfumes continue to evolve and age over time. They also smell differently on the skin, from one person to another so buying a perfume for someone else is not advised. To that end, we offer Gift Certificates.

Prepayment of $150.00 is required to proceed. A receipt is given along with the finished product.

Full Personal Perfume Consultation

Come in for a ninety-minute initial consultation and together we will begin to build your own natural creative fragrance. I will then set to work and formulate our ideas, making a few samples for you to assess. There is another hour-long consultation to make any adjustments to the perfume so it is just right for you. 2 oz glass atomizer contains your special creation. I came to Lyn with a challenge to recreate a natural version of my favorite scent. I was tired of the overpowering chemical odor that permeates commercial perfumes these days, so I was looking for a more natural way.

First of all, the process that Lyn takes, with a challenge such as this, is with loving fervor and determination. We had a fun time matching scents, right on the spot. Lyn really knows her stuff when it comes to herbals and natural scents. I trust her judgment completely and was ready to just let her take creative control, however Lyn kept me in the loop by having me try a few scents until I chose the scent that suited me just right.

I am still surprised at how wonderful the scent is and that it smells so very similar to the commercial brand. Although the commercial brand lingers seemingly endlessly, there is always that hint of chemical. However, with Lyn's natural version of perfume, the scent is always honest, fresh, and natural, even as it fades.

I love the fact Lyn offers several different media for the scent; solid bee's wax base, crème de Shea or an alcohol-base spritzer. I choose to have mine in a solid base.

Knowing how lovingly Lyn produces the final product makes me wear my scent with confidence and pleasure. Her knowledge of all things energy continues to blow me away. Thanks, Lyn!

A variety of testers are offered for your assessment.
